Palm and platters- Terms and conditions

By placing an order or booking with Palm & Platters, you’re agreeing to the following terms.


Delivery and Pickup:

  • We’ll always do our best to meet your requested time, but delivery windows depend on availability. 
  • You’ll receive an estimated time window in your booking confirmation. 
  • Someone must be home to receive your delivery. If not, we’ll leave it in a safe spot at your own risk. 
  • If we run into any unexpected delays, we’ll let you know as soon as we can.


Pickup Location: 

Port Douglas and Mossman area- the exact address will be sent once your order is confirmed and payment is made.


Equipment and return:

If you’ve hired equipment (like boards, bowls, knives, etc.):

  • We leave a large GREEN container under your table, we kindly ask you to place everything in that after your event for pick up the following day.
  • If items are missing or damaged, your bond will be reduced to cover the cost.


Payment:

We accept bank transfer or cash.


Bond:

If your order includes any hire items, a refundable bond of $95 is required.

This will be returned once all items are returned and undamaged.

Deductions may apply for missing or damaged items. If an item is lost or beyond repair, the bond may be forfeited, and extra charges may apply if costs exceed the bond amount. You will see this amount on your invoice.


Cancellations:

  • Grazing Boxes- Cancel within 24 hours: No refund
  • Grazing Tables / Table Runners- Cancel within 5 days: No refund


Food Safety:

All food should be consumed within 3 hours of delivery or set-up.

If you’re keeping it out longer, it’s at your own risk.

While we follow strict food safety guidelines, Palm and Platters takes no responsibility for illness or damage caused by food left out too long or stored incorrectly.


Dietary needs and allergies:

We cater to a range of dietary requests- vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free.

Let us know at the time of booking so we can do our best to accommodate.

We prepare everything with care, but we can’t guarantee no cross-contamination as we use shared prep spaces and products from external suppliers.

It’s your responsibility to inform your guests of this information.
